Rooms
Babies (0–2)
Warm, responsive care with sensory play, tummy time, language-rich interactions, and individualized routines to support early development.
Toddlers (2–3)
Safe, predictable environment with messy play, blocks and puzzles, vocabulary-building, and guided self-help to foster independence and social skills.
Preschoolers (3–4)
Play-based, teacher-supported activities (projects, early literacy/numbers, dramatic play, fine-motor work) to boost curiosity and coordination.
School Readiness /
Pre-reception (4-5)
Focused, playful lessons in phonics, early writing, number sense, routines and social-emotional skills, plus small-group support for a confident transition to school.
Our Approach
At Little Learners Ark, we are proud to follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, which forms the foundation of our child-centered approach. We believe in the power of learning through play, creating an environment where children can explore, discover, and grow at their own pace. Our free-flow play spaces allow children to move between indoor and outdoor areas, engaging with a wide range of resources designed to foster creativity, physical skills, and cognitive development.
Our setting is thoughtfully equipped to support diverse learning experiences, from stimulating activities that encourage imaginative play to hands-on resources that develop fine and gross motor skills. Regular outdoor adventures, such as visits to local parks, provide opportunities for physical exploration, with equipment like stilts, body boards, climbing ropes, balls, and bats helping to enhance coordination, strength, and confidence.
